Day 4 "The Joy of the Lord is my strength."

Our walk today began with a hearty and yummy breakfast. We started by walking along the ocean coast. Our way soon took us inland around a golf course. We walked on boardwalks, cobblestone streets, dirt paths, and roads. We saw our cobblestone road being repaired by slow, careful labor. Our way took us through an eucalyptus forest. Walking through a village, we met 2 dogs who were on a flat roof! We saw many churches both large and small. Our path took us past a fire station, along a river, and across a bridge where we met John for our ride back to our rental house A wonderful day.

Day 3

Today we saw the rain .. It came to join us just before lunch ..,

It was a little wet and blistery along the ocean 

But is was fun to watch the waves 

Here the team is walking along the board walk

John Got in a bit of fishing.

It was right around this point that some of the team decided that the day was long enough

We are still a full day ahead of schedule so in a couple days we will look for the hot springs 

The waves were majestic.. the video does not do them justice 

Tonight we checked into our next home .. it is a beautiful stone home 

 

A great Day 2

In Him is Life and that Life is the Light of the world

 On our Camino today we continued north along the coast.

We walked on a boardwalk,

Walked between the sea and an industrial area, 

 Crossed bridges 

Climbed rocks, 

 traveled through seaside villages,

 Walked through sand,

and had an amazing picnic lunch delivered to us by John 

We are truly on our way!!
